Romney Surges to Within One Point of McCain in Florida Media Impressions
Giuliani Falls Further, Trailing Both McCain and Romney
SAN MATEO, Calif. — January 29, 2008 — Biz360® Inc., the leading provider of media and market intelligence solutions, today
released analysis
showing John McCain
with a narrowing
lead among GOP
presidential candidates
in national
and Florida media
impressions heading
into today's Florida
primary. Although
McCain's media
coverage
has remained consistent,
Mitt Romney's rivalry
with McCain and
strong poll numbers
have
boosted Romney's
media impressions
in both
Florida and nationally.
Romney has surpassed
Rudy Giuliani and
now trails McCain
by just one media
impression point.
Giuliani,
who has focused
a great deal of his
campaign efforts
in
Florida, lost his
media lead
in Florida to
McCain on January
15,
2008, and then
to Romney during
this past weekend.
Mike Huckabee
continues to struggle
for
media attention.

shrunk from eight percentage points to just one point
- Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are nearly tied in Florida media impressions with 39 and 38 percent respectively
- Nationally, McCain still maintains a significant lead in media impressions with
27 percent, followed by Romney's 20 percent
- Among bloggers, McCain maintains an eight-point lead over Romney with 24 percent and 16 percent, respectively
