indicates that
while Democrats
Hillary
Clinton and Barack
Obama dominate
U.S.
media coverage,
their share of
coverage is even
greater in
European media
- the
two candidates
appear in 10 percent
more
of the total European
coverage than they
do in U.S. media
articles. The third-ranking
candidate in European
coverage is Republican
John McCain, who
trails
second place by
24 points. With
U.S. media coverage,
that
gap is half as great.
